Welcome to TheResumeCo.com (“Website”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”). If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, you must not use our services.
- Services Offered
The Resume Co LLC provides professional resume writing, LinkedIn optimization, cover letter writing, reverse recruiting, and outplacement services. These services are tailored to individual clients based on the information provided by them.
- Service Expiration
All resume writing and associated services must be completed within 90 days from the date of purchase.
Clients are responsible for providing the necessary information and feedback in a timely manner. If the required details are not submitted within the 90-day period, the service will be considered expired, and no refunds will be issued.
Extensions may be granted under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of The Resume Co LLC.
- Reverse Recruiting Service Guidelines
Reverse recruiting services include job application support, job search strategy consultation, and tailored guidance.
The Resume Co LLC does not guarantee job placement, interview invitations, or employment outcomes.
Clients must provide accurate, up-to-date, and truthful information for the service to be effective.
The service is valid for 3 months from the date of purchase, after which any unused service will expire.
The Resume Co LLC reserves the right to decline applications to specific job postings if they are deemed inappropriate or outside the agreed service scope.
No refunds are provided for reverse recruiting services due to the highly time-intensive nature of the work involved.
- Outplacement Services
The Resume Co LLC offers outplacement services to support displaced employees in securing new employment opportunities.
Services may include resume writing, LinkedIn optimization, career coaching, interview preparation, job search strategies, salary negotiation training, and networking guidance.
Each employee will receive tailored support based on their career goals and industry requirements.
Employers providing outplacement services for their employees will be required to submit necessary details for service activation.
Confidentiality is maintained throughout the process, with information handled by the company owner until the contract stage.
The Resume Co LLC does not guarantee employment outcomes but aims to improve job search effectiveness through expert guidance.
- Payment Terms & Refund Policy
If you purchase any of our career services, The Resume Co LLC will collect the total price of the package in accordance with the pricing terms on the website.
Payment for services is due upfront and collected before work begins.
The Resume Co LLC is not responsible for any fees charged by your bank in relation to our collection of payment.
As part of any purchase made through the website, you will be asked to provide your name, email, phone number, billing address, and credit or debit card information to either The Resume Co LLC or a third-party payment processor.
You agree to pay The Resume Co LLC for any services purchased by one of the methods described on the website. You hereby authorize the collection of such amounts by charging the credit card provided as part of requesting the service either directly by The Resume Co LLC or indirectly via a third-party payment processor.
If you are directed to a third-party payment processor, you may be subject to terms and conditions governing the use of that third party’s service and personal information collection practices. Please review such terms and conditions and privacy policies before using the services.
Refunds, if any, are at the sole and absolute discretion of The Resume Co LLC and will be in the form of either a credit for The Resume Co LLC services or a money-back refund. The Resume Co LLC reserves the right to determine in what form the refund will be given.
In the event that The Resume Co LLC terminates your account or this Agreement due to your breach of this Agreement, you understand and agree that you shall receive no refund or exchange for any unused time on any package or fees for any portion of our services, any content or data associated with your account, or for anything else.
All purchases are non-transferable and may not be transferred to another individual or entity.
- Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate, complete, and truthful information, including career history, qualifications, and job preferences.
The Resume Co LLC is not liable for inaccuracies or misrepresentations in the final documents due to misinformation provided by the client.
Clients must respond to communication and revision requests in a timely manner to ensure the completion of services within the stated time frame.
- Revisions Policy
Clients are entitled to one round of unlimited revisions within 7 days of receiving the completed resume or related document.
Additional revisions beyond this period or outside the original service scope may incur extra charges.
Revision requests must align with the original job target and content focus agreed upon at the start of the service.
- Intellectual Property Rights
All resumes and related documents created by The Resume Co LLC become the property of the client upon final delivery.
The Resume Co LLC reserves the right to use anonymized and de-identified samples for marketing and portfolio purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
- Limitation of Liability
The Resume Co LLC is not responsible for employment outcomes, including but not limited to job offers, interview invitations, or career advancements resulting from our services.
We do not guarantee specific results or job placements.
The Resume Co LLC is not liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from the use of our services.
- Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Agreement and any disputes shall be governed by the internal substantive laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its choice or conflicts of law provisions. Any disputes relating to this Agreement will be heard in the courts located in the County of Douglas, State of Colorado.
- Modification of Terms
The Resume Co LLC reserves the right to update, modify, or change these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any modifications will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically for any changes. By continuing to use our services after any changes to these Terms & Conditions, you agree to be bound by the updated terms.
If you do not agree with any updated terms, you must cease using our services immediately.
