Hi welcome to my website, I am Chris Ward, the founder of The Resume Co. The inspiration to establish my own resume writing service emerged when I was working for a seasoned resume writer early in my career. Despite her nearly 25 years of experience, I observed that her designs were outdated. The resumes, though well-written, lacked visual impact and often relied on identical templates for different clients. This prompted me to question the value of such an approach. If you are investing in a professional service, it is my belief that it should be tailored to your unique profile—to help you stand out in a competitive field of applicants.
This realization motivated me to start my own resume writing company.
Since then, I have been honored with national awards and have established four successful resume writing services in major U.S. cities. In 2023, I decided to expand our impact beyond local markets to serve clients across the United States, Canada, and globally.
